Founded by Alexis Eniola, a self-taught hairstylist, wig connoisseur, and curve model from Australia, the brand was inspired by a deeply personal experience.
When Eniola shaved her head in solidarity with her sister who was battling brain cancer, she witnessed firsthand the emotional impact of hair loss, and the lack of beautiful, realistic, high-quality wigs that made women feel like themselves again.
That experience became the catalyst for Eniola Hair.

The name Eniola comes from Yoruba, the language of Eniola's paternal heritage, and means “a person of wealth” or “a very important person.”
